Day 21 and a food log from last week

Sunday-Lunch

I haven’t quite managed to take pictures of every meal on my whole30 – mainly because when I’m hungry I’m happier to concentrate on getting food in my mouth than getting the right angle to photograph.

That said, I have managed to write down what I had over the last week which will give a good idea of what a week of whole30 meals looks like for me.

At the risk of sounding obvious – B = Breakfast ; L = Lunch ; D = Dinner ; S = Snack ; ** = eaten out at a restaurant

Monday

B – 3 fried eggs + 2 handfuls of baby spinach + olive oil + iced coffee w/ almond milk

S – cashews + banana

L – salmon burger topped with pesto  + butternut squash soup 

D – swordfish + roasted breadfruit and mushrooms + plantain

Tuesday

B – 3 fried eggs + baby spinach + butternut squash soup + plantain + iced coffee w/ almond milk

S – cashews + banana

L – king fish + roasted breadfruit and mushrooms + plantain

D – salmon burger + spaghetti squash with tomato and kale sauce

Wednesday

B – 3 fried eggs + breadfruit and mushrooms + iced coffee w/ almond milk

L – pan fried barracuda + asian salad + americano **

S – cashews + baby carrots

D – hot smoked salmon + coconut cauliflower rice + spinach + baby carrots

Lunch at Open Kitchen

Thursday 

B – 3 fried eggs + plantain + breadfruit & mushrooms  + blended coconut milk iced late 

S – mango

L – hot smoked salmon + coconut cauliflower rice + spinach

S – almonds

D – dolphin (Mahi Mahi) + stir fried veg + plantain

Friday 

B – 3 fried eggs + stir fried veg + plantains

L – shrimp + naked cabbage slaw + cucumber + coconut aminos + sparkling water **

S – mango + coconut + cashews

D – 3 eggs scrambled with spaghetti squash + kale + tomato sauce

Saturday

B – 3 eggs + spinach + blended coconut milk iced late 

S – grapes and cashews

D – dolphin (Mahi Mahi) + spaghetti squash + spinach + tomato sauce

(big late breakfast and big early dinner meant an unusual no lunch day)

Sunday

B – 3 eggs + spinach + almond milk iced latte

S – orange in the sea

L – pan fried Mahi Mahi + spinach, carrots, grapes salad + toasted almonds and pesto dressing

D – baked salmon + roasted breadfruit + mushrooms

S – sliced apple + coconut butter
